The Advanced Whisky Ambassador teaches you in detail what Scotch whisky is, how it is produced, how the flavors and aromas are created, and why it is the most diverse drink in the world.

The Advanced Whisky Ambassador is a multi-day course and the logical follow-up course to The Whisky Ambassador. The course goes into detail on the following topics:
- Malting
- Milling
- Mashing
- Fermentation
- Distillation
- Maturation
- Blending and Bottling
- Sensory analysis
When discussing the above topics, we delve into the processes and why they are important in whisky production. The central question is always: how do the processes contribute to the production of whisky and the aromas and flavors of whisky?
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the focus is also on learning through experience. During the course, we will work with aromas, we will of course taste, and we will visit a distillery.

Patrick Fidder, owner of our Partner Bar Hotel Fidder, and Bob Wenting, our ambassador, are both working 'in the whisky' and both are still passionate enthusiasts. If you encounter them at the bar or attend tastings by both gentlemen, that is a top priority for both gentlemen.
The way both gentlemen conduct their tastings is very different. The men have an opinion on how it should be done! Yes, really! And they sometimes let that be known. As a result, they have their own style of conducting a tasting.
Do you want to see them side by side? This is your chance! Patrick has selected some fantastic whiskies from his range that he will present in his own way this evening. Bob is bringing some great society cask whiskies and will present them in his way. All in the same tasting. If that isn't going to be a cheerful chaos...
