Friday, March 13th, our tasting is entirely dedicated to Infrequent Flyers: a special whisky series from Alistair Walker Whisky Co., known for their independent perspective, small batches, and quirky cask choices.
The name says it all. These are distilleries you rarely "see flying": closed distilleries, obscure gems, and whiskies you don't get in your glass every day. No mass production, but casks with character, strength, and a clear signature.

This evening we take you into the spirit of Compass Box, the independent whisky maker that has been pushing boundaries for years with innovative blends where story, cask choice, and flavor magnificence come together. Each whisky is a work of art in itself — from memories of urban life to an ode to decadence and the secrets of smoke.

Metropolis
An ode to the bustling city and the heart of blended whisky. This release from the Extinct Blends Quartet revolves around rich, complex aromas of vanilla, honey, fruit, and a subtle, seductive smoke — a blend of rare and mature stocks, with a solid structure and elegant finish.
Art & Decadence
Compass Box places art and whisky side by side. Inspired by the decadent movement, this blend offers layers of dried fruit, vanilla custard, and wood tones. Perfect for the sweeter moments of the evening.
Celestial
The most peaty member of the Extinct Blends Quartet. Think of coastal fires, vanilla, and cooked fruit, with a dry and robust body. A dram to dream away with and share stories.
Secrets of Smoke
Gives smoke a layered role: first intense, then rich and even surprisingly sweet through sherry and wine casks that reveal hidden flavors. Perfect for those who want to explore the depth of peat beyond the first smoke cloud.
